Transient Sculpture

These works are about the moment, using form, time, and light.

The sculptural process begins with a found object, an aspect of light, or sometimes both. The work progresses intuitively looking, thinking, seeing and at some point, reaching a conclusion. Throughout the process, I take photographs, choosing a precise viewpoint. Thus the sculpture, itself ephemeral and fleeting, lasting in photographic form.
